What this page covers
Cookies and similar storage, such as your browser's local storage, on villanord.no and inside the windows from other providers that we show on our pages: the booking window, the gift card shop and the careers listing. The Norwegian Electronic Communications Act (ekomloven section 3-15) requires your consent before anything is stored in or read from your browser, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.
What we store without asking
Only necessary settings, and only in your browser: your cookie choice, and whether you have closed a notice at the top of the page. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Analytics and marketing
Tools that measure how the site is used, or show Villa Nord offers on other websites, run only with your consent. They appear under Cookie settings and in the list below, switched off until you allow them, and you are asked again when they change.
Changing your choice
Open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Switching a purpose off stops the tools in that purpose from the next page you load. Your choice is stored in your browser only, so it applies to this browser and device.
Windows from other providers
The booking window (our booking service, shared with the other Strawberry hotels), the gift card shop (Gift Up) and the careers listing (OneCruiter) are services shown inside our pages. They store what they need in order to work, listed below, and their own terms apply inside the window. Where a provider lets us choose, we request only the necessary categories. Their privacy statements are linked in the list.

Shows our vacancies and takes applications on the careers page. Loads only there. We request only the necessary categories from the provider, so the window sets no cookies and reports no visits.

- The window loads fonts and scripts from Google, jQuery, jsDelivr and Amazon, and looks up your approximate location through ipinfo.io (United States); these providers receive your IP address.
